Plastic Casing
Our multi-layer Walsroder plastic casings provide excellent meat cling. They are neutral in terms of taste and odour, and the finished sausage products are tightly stuffed, smooth and wrinkle-free. In fact, Walsroder plastic casings are suitable for packaging far more than just sausages: they are all-rounders with which virtually all kinds of food items can be securely packaged.
A five-layer combination of materials based on polyamide (nylon), EVOH and polyolefin makes Walsroder K plus a special casing that provides added protection. If your require a flexible multi-purpose casing or if you sterilize (retort/autoclave) your products, then take a look at our all-purpose casing Walsroder K flex.
